Hong Kong-born Cathy is a flautist and piccolist who is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she earned her Advanced Orchestral Performance Diploma and Master’s in Orchestral Performance.

Now regularly working on the London freelance music scene, Cathy is an active performer in both orchestral and chamber music settings. She has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera, Bath Opera, Orchestra de Cymru, London Opera Company Orchestra, Cardiff Opera, Ensemble Cambrica, Hong Kong Six Arts Orchestra, and Ponte Orchestra Hong Kong.

A passionate performer, Cathy has given solo and chamber recitals in diverse international locations, including Hong Kong, Macau, the UK, the US, Vienna, and Portugal. She is a proud recipient of support from several esteemed organizations, including Help Musicians UK, the Craxton Memorial Trust, Ground Music Hong Kong, and the Talent Development Scholarship. As a scholar at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cathy continues to develop her artistry with a commitment to musical excellence.
