DJ Kizzi is a London-based radio presenter and DJ, currently hosting Saturday nights (6–9pm) on BBC Asian Network. Born and raised in West London, she grew up surrounded by the city’s diverse sounds, first picking up the Dhol at age 7 before turning to DJing at 15. Her sets blend music from across cultures and genres, creating fresh and unexpected mixes.
As a performer, Kizzi has played some of the UK’s biggest Asian music events, including Desi Beats, where she became a resident DJ at just 17. She has also brought her sound to stages at The Commonwealth Games, Coventry City of Culture, Nike London, Boxpark, Brit Asia, Hanwell Carnival, and worked alongside major artists like Miss Pooja and Garry Sandhu.
Her radio journey began at Youths Choice Radio, before joining Westside Radio, where she launched the world’s first Desi Rap show. Breakthrough opportunities soon followed, from the BBC Christmas House Party and KISS Fresh Takeover to the Asian Network Takeover in 2021. By April 2024, she secured her primetime Saturday night slot on BBC Asian Network. Beyond her career, Kizzi champions women in music, building community and collaboration among female DJs and musicians.
