Laura is an award-winning cellist and Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, recognised for her outstanding contribution to the music industry. Alongside her work as a freelance cellist with the BBC Symphony and BBC Concert Orchestras, she was the original solo cellist for Les Misérables in London’s West End and has performed and recorded with artists including Adele, Beyoncé, Björk, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Tom Jones, David Gilmour and Florence + The Machine.

A versatile performer and arranger, Laura assembled and recorded the string orchestra for Tom Odell’s 2024 album, created and recorded the string arrangements for Stereophonics’ 2022 album, and performed the featured solo cello on Alicia Keys’ orchestral version of If I Ain’t Got You for Netflix’s Queen Charlotte. Whether providing elegant background music or creating a memorable ceremony moment, her warm, expressive sound brings the rich, human voice of the cello to every occasion.
